      Dark Haven Raids Karazhan!  We've successfully raided Karazhan several times now and we've had a few nice milestones.   Both Moroes and the Curator were killed on our first try! Great job Dark Haven Members.  we've established a good raiding relationship with several players and guilds on the server to allow those of us to raid while keeping our family style guild and non-raiding members included!  Those of you interested in joining Dark Haven or registering on the forums, please speak to one of the following Council Members in game:   Fingal, Seenar, Akina, or Zalada.  We require all raiders to be on Teamspeak (to listen at least) and have a few specific mods to help get through some of the more tactically challenging encounters in raid instances.  Thanks again everyone who has helped by providing materials for consumables and prep work on recruiting additional spots!  Every bit helps.  On a side note. I'm looking at some new website mods that allow for dynamic posting by all the members as well as forums and a Ventrilo Server to make voice communication easier for our frieneds since it appears Ventrilo is now the prefered VoIP.  These things take money people so if you want to help financially, let me know.  We can set up a paypal account or something.

    Well we have several 70's now. Great job everyone!  We are looking to Karazan(10-man raid instance), so focus on those quests for the key and gear up! If you are keyed and can get into pickup groups with some of our guild friends, do so.  The more experience we get, the more successful we will be when we try as a group. Running heroics will also help you to get the gear you need to survive.

    Blizzard announced the next expansion: Wrath of the Lich King.   Info is limited, but follow the link to the right for official info.  No release date listed yet.

    I'm still looking for screenshots from people.  Post them to the board or email them to me.  Just make sure to put Dark Haven Screenshot (or something like that) in the subject so I don't automatically delete it.

     School will be starting soon for most kids and that means a lot of character's playtimes will be changing.  If you have any items to sell in the auction house.  The next two weekends are good times to unload a lot of stuff.

     Congratulations to several of our ranks on getting to level 70!   Shiorin, Seenar, Danora, and Nethara!  

     Welcome to our new members!  Be sure to register on the forum to get full member status.  

     I have take over the guild bank and as of right now paid out all credit to each member still in the guild.  The bank is not really needed right now, but I'll pick it back up if we need to in the future.  

     We are currently accepting new members, but we are a casual guild.  Most of us have families and other responsibilities that prevent us from raiding on a regular basis.  Our plan is to eventually have enough members to run pick-up raiding whenever we can.  It's not too hard to get 10-25 players together if we have enough in our ranks.

     Anyone interested in helping out the guild by recruiting or planning raids and events, please talk to a member of the Guild Council about what is expected and involved in being a member of the leadership.

     Thanks to everyone that has stuck around.  Your dedication and support will help this guild grow!

     Both Parrot and Wexler have decided to move their main characters to another server to play with some old friends.  They will still have several alternate characters in the guild and don't plan on leaving us fully.  We will miss you, but hope your plans work out in your other realms...  

    Parrot has asked me to take over the remaining responsibilities of guild bank and guild leader.  With that in mind I ask everyone to please register on the message board as well as communicate there which of your characters in the guild are your mains which are alternates.  I would like to clean up the roster a bit so we have a better idea of where we stand.  Anyone interested in becoming a guild assistant, please speak to me about what is involved.

     Welcome to the Burning Crusade!  With the release of the expansion we are focused on leveling up to 70 at a reasonable rate.  For those of you who are new to the guild - WELCOME!  We are glad you have joined us.  We ask that everyone please register on the message boards as a first step towards full membership, which includes access to the Guild Bank.  We are planning a free-for-all grouping at the Dark Portal in Outland on Friday evening, so everyone come out and lets take over some towers, kill some Horde and party!

     The website is now live.
