Coming with 3.3 will be the addition of a new roll option. You will be able to opt to Greed/Disenchant items that drop off bosses while using the new Dungeon system in patch 3.3. Note: You must still have a party member able to disenchant the item in order for the option to show up. Assuming you do, the item will be Need/ Greed rolled as normal and if you opt for Disenchant, the disenchanted materials wil automatically come to you without having the Enchanter get the item and redistribute it to the winner. Anyone who has not transferred their world of warcraft account to a battle.net account by Nov 12 will be unable to log in to the game until they do so. Also if you transfer it before Nov 12th all of your characters will get a free in-game mini-pet: a penguin. be sure to check our their F.A.Q.

This is part of Blizzards move to a more centralized gaming community for when Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 come out. One account name for all their games. Also Battle.net is getting a major update with lots of features in the near future. Cross game chat, friends lists, etc. Similar to Steam.

Most members who have an authenticator have already transferred their account. If you haven’t, you should merge your account sooner rather than later. I imagine that the Battle.net servers will get bogged down as we approach the deadline. If you don’t have an authenticator, please consider getting the mobile app for iPhone, or purchasing the keyfob version off the Blizzard store. It will give you piece of mind. You can buy an authenticator here

Great work on trying Onyxia Wednesday night. I have to say we got the tactics down there on the last attempt, we just didn’t have enough DPS. We went through several successful Deep Breaths without anyone dying. I think once we get some better gear guild-wide, this event will be obtainable for us. We moved over to Obsidian Sanctum and 9-man’d it with no problem at all. Great job guys!

Congrats to Warceltic on reaching 80! We have a few more members almost there(Rugar & Kylaerin), too. If you have a specific dungeon or heroic-dungeon you need to run in order to get gear, please let us know so we can plan to run it with you. If you don’t know what dungeons to run, ask for help!

WoW PTR is now back up with an intial 3.3 patch running. This puts 3.3 going live around Christmas time given Blizzard’s history. They are making a few significant changes to some game mechanics so double check the PTR patch notes to see how things might be changing for your class!
